A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced CFO to join a well-established financial services group located in Central Auckland. If you have had solid CFO experience preferably working for a listed company then this role could be for you.
Duties include
- Looking after accounting and financial systems for the company including processes and internal controls
- Ensuring data is up to date and available for audit processes and reporting
- Manage the calculation of tax obligations and payments when due
- Manage other staff in the team
- Assist with legal, compliance, governance and risk obligations of the group
- Contribute to planning and budgeting processes
- Assist IT where necessary and work closely with internal/external stakeholders to manage any system upgrades that could have financial impacts
- Assist the MD with the business and other tasks as required
- Assist with any financial project work as required.
To be successful you will ideally have:
- A degree preferably in finance
- ACCA accreditation
- 5 years plus experience as a CFO within a large organisation, preferably a listed company
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Can confidently manage financial risks and budgets
- Excellent attention to details and able to meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks
