A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced CFO to join a well-established financial services group located in Central Auckland.  If you have had solid CFO experience preferably working for a listed company then this role could be for you.

Duties include

  • Looking after accounting and financial systems for the company including processes and internal controls
  • Ensuring data is up to date and available for audit processes and reporting
  • Manage the calculation of tax obligations and payments when due
  • Manage other staff in the team
  • Assist with legal, compliance, governance and risk obligations of the group
  • Contribute to planning and budgeting processes
  • Assist IT where necessary and work closely with internal/external stakeholders to manage any system upgrades that could have financial impacts
  • Assist the MD with the business and other tasks as required
  • Assist with any financial project work as required.

To be successful you will ideally have:

  • A degree preferably in finance
  • ACCA accreditation
  • 5 years plus experience as a CFO within a large organisation, preferably a listed company
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Can confidently manage financial risks and budgets
  • Excellent attention to details and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks
