This month our My Story candidate is our January 'Temp of the Month', Melanie Jeffery.

Tell me a little about where you grew up and what it was like.

I grew up in the ever evolving Eastern suburbs of Auckland, we always had fun adventuring around the towns.

Why did you choose the career you have worked in?

EA/PA/TA roles are a way of always further developing my abilities/skill sets. I chose this career because I love working within a team having a variety of tasks and providing a variety of different support to various members of teams. As systems and processes are always evolving and it’s great to be in an environment where I can grow and learn as it happens.

Can you tell me a little about your experience with Alpha, and how we have been involved in your journey?

My experience with Alpha has been one of success after success, it has never been stressful (even during the lockdowns), reception, payroll and all others have always been helpful and whenever I’ve needed a chat the lines have always been open.  

Working with Chloe and Natasha has been a wonderful experience. The check in/up process is one I was not entirely familiar with but had come to enjoy and expect.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Alpha Recruitment and with my current assignment leading to a permanent position my journey comes to an end.
