Our client is seeking a candidate with AOD experience in counseling or social work to support residents battling substance abuse and make a meaningful impact in their lives.

The facility is based in Central and Auckland and you will be required to lead and facilitate group and individual sessions to help Clients through a rehabilitation program supporting those with mental health and addictions. 

The Candidate:

• Must be entitled to work in New Zealand
• Have valid FULL registration with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB to practise as a counsellor/social worker or AOD Practitioner in NZ
• High Level of verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain therapeutic relationships.
• Level 7 or higher in Mental Health, Psychology, Alcohol or Drug Studies.

The Role:

• Full time position
• Central Auckland based
• External and Internal Clinical Supervision
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
• Develop, implement, and review personalized treatment plans.
• Offer guidance and support to clients, fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
