Due to this, our long-term client is pleased to be expanding their HR team.  Reporting to the HR Manager, this position provides the opportunity to partner with a number of business units ensuring the company’s people are retained, developed and engaged in the best way possible.  You will provide targeted advice, support and guidance to people leaders in the business, contributing to the employee focused culture that emphasises people, productivity and continuous improvement.

While not limited to, your key deliverables will include:

  • Developing strong relationships and an in-depth understanding of all business units, their objectives, challenges and risks
  • Providing guidance on all aspects of general HR including employment agreements, performance management, remuneration processes, HR policies and practices.
  • Ensuring people leaders understand and plan for the people implications of business decisions
  • Monitoring and reporting on key people metrics and trends
  • Workforce planning, training and development
  • Employee wellbeing and engagement
  • Being a trusted coach and mentor across the business

About you

A trusted HR professional with at least five years’ experience as a business partner, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge of HR disciplines including leadership capability, operational HR delivery, talent management and employee engagement/retention.  Preferably you’ll be competent with collective employment terms, developing and implementation policies & practices as well as confident to facilitate groups and contribute to long term projects.  Your pragmatic approach combined with your ability to grasp complex business issues will be proven, as will your passion and respect for sustainability and diversity.  Preferably you’ll be seeking full time employment, however we are open to chatting to those seeking 32+ hours per week.
