The opportunity:

Our client is a not for profit social services organisation providing refuge to woman in need of their services. This is a unique role, and will provide you with a greater sense of purpose, that your role is helping those in need. 

In this role, you'll work effectively with wahine and Tamariki who access services provided by this refuge. This position will provide support, advocacy, and referral to service. 

This role is full time and based in West Auckland. 

Key responsibilities:

• Assess the situation using identified and appropriate methods of safe practice

• Required administration is completed and filed as per the existing policies and procedures

• Case notes 

• Recieve and respond to crisis line phone calls on rostered days

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 2+ years previous relevant experience 
• An empathetic person, who's trust worthy and has excellent relationship skills
• NZ Citizenship or permanent residency
