The role is based in Hornby, and is full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week on site. 

Here is what the role will entail: 

Responsibilities include working with the production management to coordinate, direct and assign work and may also include evaluating employee performance including making recommendations regarding performance and disciplinary action if required. 

This position forms part of the Production Team and is responsible for the effective processing of work through production facilities, ensuring consistent quality and timely processing of work. Ensuring continued optimisation and smooth process of work through communicating of requirements between Operations, and Production Team members.

Key tasks of the role:

  • Ensure Production operations & schedules are carried out in a timely manner and in an appropriate, cost effective way.
  • Work with Operations Lead to Improve production management systems, processes and best practices.
  • Mentor team and ensure staff motivation and morale.
  • Work with team to promptly address non-performance and non-compliance with policies, procedures and H&S standards.
  • Active participation in management meeting and other leadership initiative where applicable.
  • Monthly review of performance and efficiency’s.
  • Participate in implementation of strategic plan and action of responsibilities assigned.
  • Leading and active participation in Toolbox meetings.

About you:

  • Previous relevant expereince in a similar role in manufacturing. 
  • Confident with ERP and MS Office packages including Excel. 
  • Analytical thinker. 
  • Must hold NZ Residency or NZ Citizenship to be considered for this role.
