About the role

Our client, a central government agency, has an hourly rate contract opportunity for a senior analyst with experience in the organisational strategy, planning and performance space. The role provide short-term support for a small busy team while they complete a recruitment process. Looking for candidates with strong planning and performance experience who are also strategic thinkers with the ability to see the bigger picture. Excellent writing and analytical skills are also essential as is the ability to influence through verbal and written communications.

Skills and experience required:

• Organisational strategy, planning and performance
• Strong writing skills are essential
• Ability to bridge the gap between process and strategy and see the bigger picture
• The ability to influence through written and verbal communications
• Strong analytical and thinking skills
• Experience of working in a central government agency would be useful but not essential
• Risk and assurance experience would be useful

 

Examples of possible areas of focus could be:

• Planning and performance measures
• Quarterly reporting and planning
• Performance or planning risk assessment and issues
• Preparing papers for the leadership team
• Development and implementation of performance, planning and reporting frameworks
