Job Title: Skilled Carpenter / Builder

We are looking for a Skilled Carpenter / Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both structural and finish carpentry, with a strong understanding of construction methods and high attention to detail. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of residential and/or commercial building projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret building plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials
• Build frameworks including walls, floors, roofs, staircases, and partitions
• Install windows, doors, cabinetry, and other finishing elements
• Perform formwork, framing, cladding, decking, and roofing tasks
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a skilled carpenter or builder in both residential and commercial construction
• Solid knowledge of carpentry and general construction techniques
• Ability to read and interpret plans, measurements, and specifications
• Competent in using a wide range of hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour, including lifting and working at heights
• Full driver’s license and reliable transport
