Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Mechanical Draftsman with proficiency in 2D AutoCAD to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and revising technical drawings, supporting the design and development of mechanical systems, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD based on                  engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations.

·         Revising and updating existing mechanical drawings as required.

·         Collaborate with engineers and senior draftsmen to develop accurate designs.

·         Ensure all drawings are created in accordance with company standards and project            requirements.

·         Maintain documentation of all drafting activities and drawings in a systematic                     manner.

·         Support the preparation of technical documentation for manufacturing and                        assembly.

·         Perform drawing checks and correct any errors or discrepancies.

·         Participate in design reviews and implement feedback as needed.

·         Follow safety standards and ensure quality control in all drafting work.

 Ideal Candidates:

·         Experience in mechanical drafting or design

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is a must.

·         Knowledge of mechanical components and engineering principles.

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.

·         Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

·         Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet                          deadlines.

·         Exposure to 3D modelling software is a plus.
