Are you an experienced Electronic Technician or Clinical Engineering Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in the healthcare sector? Join a large health-based organisation, where you’ll play a key role in the maintenance, repair, calibration, and safety testing of medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installation and commissioning of medical equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and standards

Perform routine inspections, repairs, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment to ensure peak performance

Carry out accurate calibration and testing to maintain equipment precision

Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to keep equipment in optimal condition

Ensure corrective maintenance is performed according to engineering practices and manufacturer guidelines
-
Maintain and update equipment records to ensure full documentation
-
Oversee the responsible decommissioning and disposal of obsolete or unserviceable equipment

Adhere to all regulations and standards for medical equipment maintenance

Manage risk, quality assurance, and ensure compliance with relevant safety protocols
Skills & Qualifications:

NZQA Level 7 Engineering Qualification (or equivalent)

Proven practical experience in a similar role

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure

Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
