Our client is a top-tier Structural Engineering Consultancy, recognised for its outstanding engineering projects across New Zealand and the are on the look out for a Senior Structural Engineer to become part of their team in Palmerston North.

Their diverse project portfolio ranges from high-end residential to sports facilities, multi-storey buildings, dairy and process plants, manufacturing sites, aged care facilities, and commercial projects.

The Role

• Leading and managing structural design projects, with a focus on seismic design and ETABS analysis
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the local leadership team
• Conducting seismic assessments and managing complex calculations
• Building and nurturing client relationships
• Collaborating with consultants and project teams to deliver successful outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 8 years of experience in structural engineering
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or in progress
• In-depth knowledge of New Zealand structural codes and ETABS analysis software
• A relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree
• Strong expertise in seismic design
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
