We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sonographer for a temporary contract working for a healthcare organisation based in Hawke's Bay. This role will start early to mid April and run through until the end of June.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct focused and limited view abdominal ultrasound scans, specifically of participants' aorta.
- Perform Kardia AliveCor ECG measurements (training provided if necessary).
- Measure and interpret blood pressure using an automated BP cuff and follow protocol to action results.
- Communicate clinical information and results clearly, in a friendly and understandable way, to participants.
- Offer clear guidance on recommended follow-up actions and available support.
- Assist participants in the informed consent process, ensuring they understand the procedure and its implications.
- Collaborate positively and respectfully with colleagues and participants to create a supportive environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Sonographer in a research or clinical environment (current APC not necessary).
- Ability to perform focused abdominal ultrasound scans of the aorta.
- Willingness to learn and perform Kardia AliveCor ECG measurements (training will be provided if needed).
- Willingness to learn and perform blood pressure measurements with an automated BP cuff and interpret results as per protocol.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic and clear approach to sharing results and supporting participants.
- A positive, respectful, and collaborative attitude toward both team members and participants.
