We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Phlebotomist/POC Technician for 2-3 month temp assignment working for a healthcare organisation based in Hawke's Bay.

Starting early/mis April and running through until the end of June.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venepuncture (blood collection) in a clinical setting.
• Learn and perform point-of-care blood analysis using a COBAS B101 analyser (training provided if needed).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely blood sample processing and analysis.
• Provide results to the healthcare team, contributing to patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Maintain a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor while interacting with patients.
• Be a positive, collaborative, and respectful team member, ensuring a supportive environment for both colleagues and patients.

What We're Looking For:

• Clinical experience as a Phlebotomist or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to perform venepuncture.
• Willingness to learn how to analyse point-of-care bloods using the COBAS B101 analyser.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and accurate information to patients and colleagues.
• A positive, respectful, and collaborative attitude in a team setting.
