The position

Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader, you will have sole responsibility for the accurate and efficient processing of multiple weekly payrolls and monthly salary payrolls.  Supporting employees with payroll queries will be a key aspect of your role, as will ensuring they are familiar with the technology that is available to them.

The key areas of responsibility will include: 

• Delivering multiple payrolls on time and with a high level of accuracy
• Working across multiple individual and collective employment agreements
• Providing compliance assistance to their USA team, including payroll support
• Providing timely and accurate advice to stakeholders, including managers and employees
• Ensuring all payroll functions and processes are compliant
• Working with the software company to implement a new payroll system
• Keeping abreast of legislative changes
• Assisting the finance team with reconciliations and journals

With a strong eye for detail, you will pride yourself on your current payroll knowledge and experience.  Adding value to the employees, systems and processes will motivate you, along with remaining at the forefront of all things payroll.  Your impeccable planning and time management ability will impress, as will your well-honed verbal and written communication skills.
