We are currently looking for Construction and Manufacturing Workers available for long and short term temporary roles.

As a construction and manufacturing worker you would perform tasks in residential, commercial and industrial construction, or in manufacturing environments using tools and machines either as an individual or as part of a team.

Ideally a good candidate would:

• Be experienced in using hand and power tools 
• Be experienced in a manufacturing and/or construction environment 
• Be physically fit and capable of heavy duties
• And preferably legally entitled to drive in New Zealand with reliable transport.

 Tasks you undertake will include but not be limited to:

• Using hand tools and power tools
• Clearing material from construction or manufacturing sites including removing debris, unused and or hazardous materials
• Operating machinery or manufacturing equipment
• Moving equipment and materials
• Assembling goods and parts, and/or installing structures and frameworks
• Maintenance of existing structures and fittings
• Making and installing products out of components such as glass, aluminium, timber, iron and steel
• Finishing building components made of wood, concrete, steels and/or aluminium
• Measuring, cutting and building elements for residential, commercial and industrial projects
• Stacking and palletizing output
• Assisting lead carpenters, installation technicians and all other skilled tradesmen with their work whenever necessary
• Assisting skilled Welders/Fabricators in maintaining and operating equipment/machinery safely and efficiently
• Assisting painting trade workers in applying paint and other relevant tasks in buildings & structures
• Assisting with scaffold erection and dismantling

If you are successful:

• Pay rate will be dependant on your level of experience
• You may be considered for locations around New Zealand
• Training opportunities as appropriate to assist you to improve your skills
• You will be required to follow all advised health and safety regulations.
