We are currently looking for Construction and Manufacturing Workers to work in New Plymouth.  As a construction and manufacturing worker you may perform tasks in residential, commercial and industrial construction, or in manufacturing environments using tools and machines either as an individual or as part of a team.

MUST have 3+ years relevant work experience

Role:  Permanent

Pay rate:  $25 - $28 per hour

Skills and Attributes for this role:

• Experience in using hand and power tools (preferred but not essential)
• Have 3+ years experience in a manufacturing or construction environment (preferred but not essential)
• Be physically fit and capable of heavy duties
• Hold a New Zealand Driver's License or International Driver's License.

 Specific Responsibilities for this role but not limited to:

• Use of hand tools and power tools
• Cleaning the construction site and factory, including removing debris, unused and or hazardous materials
• Machinery, manufacturing and plant operation
• Moving equipment and materials
• Assembling goods and parts on a production line
• Following all advised health and safety regulations
• Making and installing products out of various components such as glass, aluminium, timber, iron and steel
• Measuring, cutting and building elements for residential, commercial and industrial projects
• Maintenance of existing structures and fittings
• Assembling and installing structures and frameworks

If you are successful:

• You will be offered permanent full-time employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week paid
• You will be offered a wage rate of  $25 to $28 per hour depending on your level of experience
• You will be offered training as appropriate to assist you to improve your skills
