Our client has been providing quality feed and outstanding service across the Waikato since 1953. They are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver / Store Person to join their team based in Matamata. Full-time and part-time position operates between Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 5pm.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering horse feed to customers across the Waikato
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Moving bags of feed (20 - 35kg each)
• Inwards receipting
• Providing excellent customer service and sales in the shop when required
• Operating an oat crusher (training provided)
• Forklift operating (training provided)

Requirements:

• Class 2 truck license (essential)
• Clean driver’s license
• High level of fitness and strength
• Forklift license (ideal but not essential)
• Good communication skills
• Legible writing and reading skills
• Basic math skills

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic and a “can do, will do anything” attitude. You will be reliable, able to work well within a small team, and demonstrate a good level of initiative.
